Data covers ERC-8004 agent registrations and Agent Trust Score assessments. Week 34 = week ending Sunday, August 23, 2026.

Week 34 delivered the sharpest rebound in the tracker’s history. 31,979 new agents registered – up 208.6% from Week 33’s 10,361, and the highest weekly registration total we have recorded to date, surpassing the prior peak of 29,577 in Week 27. Unique owner wallets nearly tripled as well, up 184.2% to 27,033. Median trust score climbed 19.0% to 563, its highest level since Week 26’s 644 and comfortably inside the Provisional tier. The full indexed agent population now stands at 419,782, up 32,527 from last week – almost exactly matching this week’s own registration count.

Week 34 Analysis

Registrations Hit a New All-Time Weekly High

31,979 new registrations breaks the prior weekly record of 29,577 set in Week 27, and marks the first time weekly registrations have crossed 30,000 since tracking began in Week 5. The jump reverses three consecutive weeks of decline (W31 through W33) in a single move, more than tripling the prior week’s total. Unique owners grew in near-lockstep, up 184.2% to 27,033, keeping the agents-per-owner ratio close to the broad-based pattern seen since Week 32 rather than signaling a concentrated fleet registration event.

Median Trust Score Reaches Its Best Level in Eight Weeks

Median trust score rose to 563, up 19.0% from Week 33’s 473 and the highest weekly figure since Week 26’s 644. Unlike prior volume surges – Week 31’s spike in registrations came with a median trust score of just 200 – this week’s much larger surge in registrations arrived alongside rising, not falling, trust quality. That combination is unusual in this dataset: past registration surges have typically diluted median trust as opportunistic or lower-quality registrations enter alongside legitimate ones.

Agents-Per-Owner Ticks Up Slightly

At 1.18 agents per owner, Week 34 is a bit higher than Week 33’s 1.09 and Week 32’s 1.06, but still far below Week 31’s 2.54 fleet-registration ratio. The modest uptick suggests a small increase in multi-agent registration behavior alongside the broader wave of new individual owners, rather than a return to concentrated batch registration.

Trust Flag Breakdown: What the Full Agent Population Looks Like

The full indexed agent population now stands at 419,782 agents across eight chains, up from 387,255 last week – an increase of 32,527, closely tracking this week’s own registration volume. Here is the updated trust flag breakdown across that entire population.

Flag

Agents

Share

What It Means

FARM_DETECTED

71,574

17.05%

Belongs to a Sybil fleet – a single operator controlling multiple agents

OWNER_MULTISIG

17

0.00%

Owner is a Gnosis Safe multisig, requiring multiple signers to act

Sybil-farm flagged agents fell as a share of the population, from 18.39% to 17.05%, even though the absolute count rose slightly (+359 agents) – a sign that this week’s 32,000-agent surge was disproportionately composed of non-farm registrations, diluting the farm share rather than adding to it. FEEDER_UNKNOWN followed a similar pattern, dropping from 8.11% to 7.82% of the population despite an absolute increase of 1,400 agents. This directional split – rising absolute counts but falling population share for the two largest risk flags – is consistent with a genuine influx of new, more broadly distributed registrations this week rather than another farm-driven event.

The most serious flags remain rare and largely unchanged in absolute terms: 769 agents have an owner funded by a confirmed rug pull operator (up 9 from last week), and 61 agents are controlled directly by a wallet with a confirmed rug pull history (unchanged). Confirmed CEX-funded owners ticked up to 2,801 agents but slipped slightly as a population share to 0.67%. Honeypot-linked flags and the structural multisig-council flags remain at effectively zero or unchanged from last week.

About This Tracker

ChainAware.ai’s weekly ERC-8004 agent tracker monitors new agent registrations on the ERC-8004 Identity Registry, the number of unique owner wallets behind those registrations, and the median Agent Trust Score of each week’s registration cohort. Agent Trust Score is a 0-1000 score combining owner wallet fraud probability, feeder address analysis, farm detection, and criminal record checks – see the full Agent Trust Score methodology for how the model scores agents and their controlling wallets. Data is updated weekly alongside ChainAware’s PancakeSwap/Uniswap rug pull tracker.

Week 34 Analysis

Pool Creation Nearly Doubles as Rug Events Cross 11,000

22,023 total pools tracked is a 61.6% jump from Week 33’s 13,625 – the sharpest single-week increase in pool activity since early 2026. New pool mints rose 23.3% to 16,223, a smaller increase than total pools, meaning much of the growth in tracked pools reflects broader activity across existing pools rather than new launches alone. Rug pull events climbed 31.4% to 11,654, the highest weekly count in the current tracked window and a clear break from the 7,000-9,000 range that had held since Week 21.

Fraud Value Rises, But Average Extraction Per Event Falls

The 13.1% rise in extracted fraud was proportionally smaller than the 31.4% rise in rug events, continuing last week’s pattern where activity growth outpaces dollar growth. Average extraction per event fell to $3,618, down 13.9% from Week 33’s $4,204 – the lowest average per event in the past several weeks. This week’s growth was driven by a much higher volume of smaller rug pulls rather than a few large extractions.

Removed-to-Added Ratio Ticks Back Up

The removed-to-added liquidity ratio was 1.415x this week, up from 1.386x in Week 33 – creators removed $1.42 for every $1.00 they seeded, reversing the two-week easing trend. The rug-to-mint ratio also rose sharply, from 67.4% to 71.8%, meaning nearly 3 in 4 new pool mints this week ended in a confirmed rug pull – the highest rug-to-mint ratio recorded since tracking of this metric began.

About This Tracker

ChainAware.ai’s weekly rug pull tracker monitors liquidity removal fraud across PancakeSwap V2 and V3 on BNB Smart Chain and Uniswap V2 and V3 on Ethereum. Rug pull fraud is defined as the USD-equivalent value of liquidity removed by the pool creator that exceeds the USD-equivalent value of liquidity added by the creator – a net extraction event, measured in USD-side value only. The tracker uses ChainAware’s predictive rug pull detection engine, which achieves 90.1% detection accuracy in V3 – see the full Rug Pull Detector methodology for how the model scores deployer wallets and liquidity events.

Week 33 Analysis

Rug Events Hit Their Highest Level Since Week 23

8,861 rug pull events is the highest weekly count since Week 23’s 8,302, extending an upward trend now running for three consecutive weeks. Total pools tracked also jumped 16.0% to 13,625 – the highest pool count since Week 28 – and new pool mints rose 10.0% to 13,161, suggesting the broader token launch environment is accelerating alongside the rise in fraud events rather than lagging behind it.

Fraud Value Rises, But More Slowly Than Activity

The 6.2% rise in extracted fraud was smaller than the 12.8% rise in rug events and the 16.0% rise in total pools – unlike Week 31, where fraud value and activity moved in near lockstep. Average extraction per event fell to $4,188, down 5.9% from Week 32’s $4,451, indicating this week’s increase was driven primarily by a higher volume of rug events rather than any single event becoming more lucrative.

Removed-to-Added Ratio Continues to Ease

The removed-to-added liquidity ratio was 1.384x this week, down slightly from 1.412x in Week 32 – creators removed $1.38 for every $1.00 they seeded, continuing the gradual easing seen over the past two weeks even as raw fraud dollars and event counts both climbed. The rug-to-mint ratio ticked up to 67.3% from 65.6%, meaning a slightly larger share of new pools ended in a confirmed rug pull this week despite the higher volume of new mints.

Data covers ERC-8004 agent registrations and Agent Trust Score assessments. Week 33 = week ending Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Week 33 pulled back on both fronts at once. 10,361 new agents registered – down 33.8% from Week 32’s 15,652. Unique owner wallets fell in step, down 35.9% to 9,511, keeping the agents-per-owner ratio essentially flat at 1.09 – still close to the broad, one-agent-per-wallet pattern that returned in Week 32. Median trust score eased 9.2% to 473, staying within the Provisional tier but giving back some of the prior week’s sharp rebound. This week we’re also updating our full trust flag breakdown across the entire indexed agent population, now standing at 387,255 agents.

Week 33 Analysis

Registrations Cool Off After Two Volatile Weeks

After Week 31’s concentration spike and Week 32’s sharp reversal back to broad-based registration, Week 33 simply cooled off on volume. 10,361 new registrations is the lowest weekly total since Week 25’s 5,948, and continues a declining trend that has now run for three consecutive weeks since Week 30’s local peak of 22,989. Unique owners fell by nearly the same proportion as registrations, which is why the agents-per-owner ratio barely moved – this looks like a broad slowdown in registration activity rather than a shift in who is doing the registering.

Trust Score Gives Back Part of the Week 32 Rebound

Median trust score fell from 521 to 473, a 9.2% decline. The score remains inside the Provisional tier (400-599) for a second consecutive week, but the pullback suggests Week 32’s rebound to 521 was not the start of a sustained recovery – trust scores for new registration cohorts continue to swing considerably from week to week, ranging from as low as 200 (Week 31) to as high as 644 (Week 26) over the past eight weeks alone.

Agents-Per-Owner Stays Near One-to-One

At 1.09 agents per owner, Week 33 continues the broad-based registration pattern that returned in Week 32 (1.06), a sharp contrast with Week 31’s 2.54 ratio that signaled fleet-style batch registration. Two consecutive weeks near a 1:1 ratio suggests the concentrated registration event in Week 31 was an isolated episode rather than the start of a new normal – though with only two data points since the reversal, it is too early to call this a stable baseline.

Sybil-farm flagged agents held essentially steady at 18.39% of the population (up marginally from 18.73% last week, as the denominator grew faster than new farm detections) – still by far the largest single flag in the dataset. FEEDER_UNKNOWN ticked up slightly to 8.11%, and ERC6551_TBA-controlled agents grew from 1,942 to 2,156, a proportionally larger jump than most other flags this week, though the category remains a small share of the total population at 0.56%.

The most serious flags remain rare in absolute terms: 760 agents have an owner funded by a confirmed rug pull operator (up 2 from last week), and 61 agents are controlled directly by a wallet with a confirmed rug pull history (unchanged). Confirmed CEX-funded owners – the strongest positive legitimacy signal – crept up to 2,778 agents, still just 0.72% of the population.

Data covers ERC-8004 agent registrations and Agent Trust Score assessments. Week 32 = week ending Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Week 32 reversed both of Week 31’s headline trends at once. 15,652 new agents registered – down 26.8% from Week 31’s 21,378. But unique owner wallets rose 76.3% to 14,834, meaning registrations swung from the most concentrated week on record back to nearly one agent per owner. Median trust score also rebounded sharply, up 160.5% to 521, moving out of Elevated Risk and into the Provisional tier. This week we’re also publishing, for the first time, a full breakdown of trust flags across the entire indexed agent population – including how many agents show signs of Sybil farming or a history tied to confirmed rug pull operators.

Week 32 Analysis

Concentration Unwinds – Ownership Spreads Back Out

Last week’s tracker flagged a sharp concentration event: registrations barely moved but unique owners collapsed, pushing agents-per-owner to 2.54x – the clearest sign yet of batch or fleet-style registration. This week, that pattern fully reversed. Registrations fell 26.8% to 15,652, but unique owners rose 76.3% to 14,834, bringing agents-per-owner back down to about 1.06 – close to one agent per wallet, the signature of broad, independent registration rather than a small number of wallets registering in bulk.

Median Trust Score Rebounds Into Provisional Territory

Median trust score jumped from 200 – the Elevated Risk floor – to 521, a Provisional-tier score and a 160.5% increase. This is the highest weekly median trust score recorded since Week 26’s 644. Combined with the more broad-based ownership pattern this week, the data points toward a genuinely different kind of registration cohort than Week 31’s: more independent wallets, each with somewhat stronger trust signals on average.

Trust Flag Breakdown: What the Full Agent Population Looks Like

Separate from this week’s registration numbers, we’re publishing a snapshot of trust flags across the entire indexed agent population – roughly 377,600 agents in total, covering everything registered since tracking began. Each flag below represents a specific pattern the Agent Trust Score model checks for in an agent’s owner wallet or control structure.

Flag

Agents

Share

What It Means

FARM_DETECTED

70,729

18.73%

Belongs to a Sybil fleet – a single operator controlling multiple agents

FEEDER_UNKNOWN

30,418

8.06%

Owner wallet’s funding source is obfuscated or untraceable

EIP7702_DELEGATED

21,165

5.61%

Owner has delegated control to a secondary address

FEEDER_CEX_VERIFIED

2,761

0.73%

Owner confirmed funded by a centralized exchange – the strongest legitimacy signal available

FEEDER_RUG_HISTORY

758

0.20%

Owner wallet was funded by a confirmed rug pull operator

CREATOR_RUG_HISTORY

61

0.02%

Agent is controlled directly by a confirmed rug pull creator

CREATOR_HONEYPOT_HISTORY

8

0.00%

Owner has previously created a honeypot token contract

ERC6551_TBA

1,942

0.51%

Owner is an ERC-6551 Token Bound Account – the real controller is whoever holds the NFT

OWNER_MULTISIG

17

0.00%

Owner is a Gnosis Safe multisig, requiring multiple signers to act

Roughly one in five indexed agents – 18.73% – are flagged as belonging to a Sybil fleet, where a single operator has registered many agents that appear independent on the surface. That’s by far the largest single flag in the dataset, and it lines up with the concentration pattern this tracker has now observed directly in the weekly registration data (as in Week 31, before it reversed this week). Almost 1 in 10 agents – 8.06% – have an owner wallet whose funding source could not be traced, and 5.61% have delegated control away from the registered owner to a secondary address, which can make the real controller harder to identify.

At the other end, only 0.73% of agents carry the strongest positive signal available – confirmed funding from a centralized exchange, which typically means the owner passed that exchange’s own identity checks. The most serious flags are rare in absolute terms but still represent real agents: 758 agents have an owner funded by a confirmed rug pull operator, and 61 agents are controlled directly by a wallet with a confirmed rug pull history. Two flags – agents funded by or controlled by confirmed honeypot creators – sit at effectively zero (8 and 0 agents respectively), and several structural flags around unresolvable or large multisig councils currently show no hits at all across the population.

Week-on-Week Comparison: W30 – W32

Metric

W30

W31

W32

W32 vs W31

About This Tracker

ChainAware.ai’s weekly ERC-8004 agent tracker monitors new agent registrations on the ERC-8004 Identity Registry, the number of unique owner wallets behind those registrations, and the median Agent Trust Score of each week’s registration cohort. Agent Trust Score is a 0-1000 score combining owner wallet fraud probability, feeder address analysis, farm detection, and criminal record checks – see the full Agent Trust Score methodology for how the model scores agents and their controlling wallets.
Week 31 Analysis

Rug Events Hit Their Highest Level Since Week 23

7,126 rug pull events is the highest weekly count since Week 23’s 8,276, and continues an upward trend that has now run for three consecutive weeks in event count terms even as extracted dollar value dipped in Week 30. New pool mints also jumped 12.8% to 11,000 – the first time mints have crossed 11,000 since Week 27 – suggesting the broader token launch environment picked back up this week after the quieter W29-W30 period.

Fraud Value Reaccelerates, But Roughly in Line With Activity

The 9.8% rise in extracted fraud tracked closely with the 8.5% rise in rug events and the 12.8% rise in new mints – unlike some recent weeks where fraud value and activity moved at very different rates. Average extraction per event was $4,399, up only 1.2% from Week 30’s $4,347, indicating this week’s increase was driven mainly by more rug events happening, not by each individual rug becoming more lucrative.

Removed-to-Added Ratio Eases Slightly

The removed-to-added liquidity ratio was 1.386x this week, down slightly from 1.414x in Week 30 – creators removed $1.39 for every $1.00 they seeded, a marginal easing in extraction efficiency even as raw activity picked up. The rug-to-mint ratio eased to 64.8% from 67.3%, consistent with the larger pool of new mints this week diluting the share that ended in a rug pull, even though the absolute number of rug events rose.

Week 32 extended the reacceleration that began in Week 31. $34,942,744 was extracted from retail investors – up 11.5% from Week 31’s $31,349,015. 7,839 confirmed rug pull events were recorded this week, the highest weekly count since Week 28’s 8,351 – though still well below the 2026 peak of 8,677 set in Week 21. The running total since tracking began now stands at $720,060,930.

Week 32 Analysis

Second Straight Week of Rising Fraud and Activity Together

Unlike the divergent patterns seen in several recent weeks, Week 32 saw fraud value, rug events, pool creation, and new mints all rise together. Total pools jumped 13.4% to 11,741, new mints rose 8.8% to 11,967, and rug events climbed 9.9% to 7,839 – the highest weekly event count since Week 28’s 8,351, though still short of the 2026 high of 8,677 set back in Week 21. The broad-based nature of this increase – every major metric moving in the same direction – suggests genuine growth in overall pool creation activity rather than a shift in the composition of what’s being tracked.

Extraction Efficiency Also Ticked Up

The removed-to-added liquidity ratio rose to 1.412x from 1.387x in Week 31 – creators removed $1.41 for every $1.00 they seeded, continuing to climb after two straight weeks of easing. Average extraction per rug event was $4,458, up 1.4% from Week 31’s $4,397. Both figures point to a slightly more aggressive extraction pattern this week, on top of – not instead of – the higher raw activity.

Rug-to-Mint Ratio Holds Steady

The rug-to-mint ratio was 65.5% this week, essentially flat versus Week 31’s 64.8%. With both the numerator (rug events) and denominator (new mints) growing at a similar pace, the overall conversion rate from launch to rug has stayed consistent even as the absolute scale of activity increased – this looks like more of the same pattern happening at a larger scale, rather than a change in underlying behavior.

Data covers ERC-8004 agent registrations and Agent Trust Score assessments. Week 31 = week ending Sunday, August 2, 2026.

Week 31 looked stable at first glance – 21,378 new agents registered, only 7.0% below Week 30’s 22,989. But the number of unique owner wallets behind those registrations collapsed, down 58.7% to just 8,413. The gap between those two numbers tells the real story: registrations concentrated sharply into fewer hands this week. Median trust score also fell further, down 33.1% to 200 – the floor of the Elevated Risk tier, and a value historically associated with farm-flagged registration batches.

Week 31 Analysis

Registrations Held Steady – But Unique Owners Collapsed

Taken on its own, a 7.0% drop in registrations would read as an unremarkable, quiet week. It is the unique owner count that changes the picture entirely: only 8,413 distinct wallets registered agents in Week 31, down from 20,355 in Week 30 – a 58.7% collapse. Registrations fell only slightly while the number of participants fell by more than half, which can only mean one thing: the wallets that did register this week each registered far more agents, on average, than in the prior week.

Agents Per Owner More Than Doubles

Dividing registrations by unique owners gives a rough measure of how concentrated a week’s activity is. In Week 30, that ratio was about 1.13 agents per owner – consistent with most owners registering a single agent, broad-based growth. In Week 31, the same ratio jumped to about 2.54 agents per owner – more than double. This is a marked shift from the pattern described in last week’s tracker, where owner growth closely tracked registration growth. This week, a smaller set of wallets accounts for a similar volume of registrations, which is the signature of batch or fleet-style registration activity rather than broad, independent participation.

Median Trust Hits the Tier Floor

Median trust score fell again, down 33.1% to exactly 200 – the lowest boundary of the Elevated Risk tier, one step above Untrusted. This is not a new value in the tracker’s history: several earlier weeks – W07, W09, W13, W21, and W22 – also recorded a median of exactly 200, and those weeks were consistent with cohorts dominated by low-history or farm-flagged registrations rather than organically diverse agent deployments. Combined with this week’s collapse in unique owners, Week 31 fits that same pattern: a smaller number of wallets registering agents in bulk, with a trust profile that reflects it.

Three Weeks, Three Different Stories

The past three weeks illustrate how differently a similar registration number can behave under the surface. Week 29 saw registrations fall sharply alongside owners, in step with each other. Week 30 saw registrations more than double alongside a nearly equal rise in unique owners – broad-based growth with declining trust. Week 31 saw registrations hold roughly steady while unique owners collapsed – concentrated growth with trust at the tier floor. The registration count alone would not have distinguished any of these three weeks from one another; the unique owner metric is what reveals the difference.

Note: Median trust score reflects the median Agent Trust Score of agents registered in that specific week, not the cumulative population median.

About This Tracker

ChainAware.ai’s weekly rug pull tracker monitors liquidity removal fraud across PancakeSwap V2, PancakeSwap V3, Uniswap V2, and Uniswap V3.

Data covers ERC-8004 agent registrations and Agent Trust Score assessments. Week 30 = week ending Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Week 30 saw new ERC-8004 agent registrations more than double. 22,989 new agents registered – up 108.5% from Week 29’s 11,026, the second-highest weekly registration count since tracking began. Unique owner wallets grew at nearly the same pace, up 96.9% to 20,355. But the median trust score of this week’s cohort fell sharply, down 26.4% to 299 – the lowest median trust score recorded since Week 20, and low enough to drop out of the Provisional tier into Elevated Risk.

Week 30 Analysis

Registrations More Than Double

22,989 new agents registered in Week 30, more than double Week 29’s 11,026. This is the second-highest weekly registration count recorded since tracking began, behind only Week 27’s 29,577. Registration volume has now swung sharply for three straight weeks: down 54.9% in Week 29, then up 108.5% in Week 30 – a reminder that weekly registration counts remain highly volatile rather than settling into a stable trend.

Introducing Unique Owners: How Spread Out Is This Week’s Growth?

Starting this week, the tracker also reports unique owner wallets – the number of distinct wallets that registered at least one agent that week. This matters because a large registration number can mean two very different things: it could reflect many different people or teams each registering an agent, or it could reflect a small number of wallets registering large batches of agents at once.

In Week 30, 20,355 unique wallets registered 22,989 agents – an average of about 1.13 agents per owner. In other words, most owners this week registered only a single agent, rather than large batches. Owner wallet growth (+96.9%) closely tracked registration growth (+108.5%), which means the doubling in registrations came from a broad increase in the number of distinct wallets participating, not from a small number of wallets registering many agents each. This is a meaningfully different picture than a scenario where the doubling was driven by one or two operators mass-registering fleets.

Median Trust Score Falls to Its Lowest Since Week 20

Despite registrations being broad-based rather than concentrated in a few wallets, the median trust score of Week 30’s cohort still fell sharply, down 26.4% to 299 – moving out of the Provisional tier (400-599) that the past three weeks had occupied, and into the Elevated Risk tier (200-399). This is the lowest median trust score recorded since Week 20’s 291, and one of the lower readings in the tracker’s history overall. A broad base of new owner wallets does not automatically mean a trustworthy one – many of this week’s registering wallets appear to be new or thin on established on-chain history, which is one of the signals the Agent Trust Score model weighs when assigning a score.
