Data covers PancakeSwap (BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum), Uniswap (Ethereum, Base and Polygon), and SushiSwap (Ethereum, Base and Polygon), all pool versions. Week 41 = week ending Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Week 41 saw $66,565,290 extracted from retail investors – up 6.8% from Week 40’s $62,326,300 and the third-highest week of 2026, behind only Weeks 38 and 39. Weeks 38, 39, 40 and 41 are now the four largest weekly totals of the year, and no week before Week 38 exceeded $62.0M. Rug pull events eased 2.1% to 13,606, while total pools tracked fell 25.8% to 105,084 after hitting a 2026 high the week before. The running total since 2026 tracking began now stands at $1,242,969,075.
Week 41 Key Numbers
Week 41 Analysis
The Four Largest Weeks of 2026 Are Now Consecutive
Weeks 38 through 41 together account for $266,664,264 of extraction, an average of $66.7M per week. Before Week 38, the largest weekly total of the year was Week 36’s $62.0M; every week since has been at or above $62.3M. Week 41’s 6.8% rebound from Week 40 keeps extraction at the level first reached in Week 38, now sustained for four weeks.
Creators Seed a 2026-High $133.1M and Remove $199.6M
Liquidity added by creators rose 11.6% to $133,074,355, the highest weekly figure of 2026, and liquidity removed rose 9.9% to $199,639,645, second only to Week 38’s $200,323,208. Rug pull events eased 2.1% to 13,606, so the average extraction per event rose 9.1% to $4,892 from $4,486 – the second-highest weekly average of 2026, behind Week 38’s $5,641. Fewer events carried more value per event.
Tracked Pools Fall 25.8% After a 2026 High
Total pools tracked fell to 105,084 from Week 40’s 141,659, yet the count has still stayed above 90,000 for six consecutive weeks (Weeks 36-41), against 26,420 in Week 34. New pool mints were almost unchanged at 18,944 (-0.6%) and have ranged between 16,402 and 23,144 across those six weeks. The gap between total pools and mint activity persists, and the two should still be read separately.
Removed-to-Added Ratio Eases for a Second Week
Creators removed $1.50 for every $1.00 they seeded in Week 41 (1.500x), down from 1.523x in Week 40 and 1.554x in Week 39. It is the second consecutive weekly decline and the lowest ratio since Week 35’s 1.472x. The rug-to-mint ratio was 71.8%, down from 72.9%; in every week since Week 35, between 71% and 77% of new pool mints have ended in a confirmed rug pull.

Note on expanded coverage and restated figures: earlier weekly reports covered PancakeSwap on BNB Smart Chain and Uniswap on Ethereum. The tracker now also covers PancakeSwap on Ethereum, Uniswap on Base and Polygon, and SushiSwap on Ethereum, Base and Polygon (all pool versions), and the added coverage continues to be imported back across earlier weeks. Every weekly figure in this article therefore reflects the expanded scope and may be slightly higher than originally reported for the same week. Running totals are recalculated by summing every weekly value since 2026-W01 on this basis. For example, our Week 39 report showed 14,166 events, $67,080,251 of fraud and a running total of $1,114,012,303; on current data Week 39 stands at 14,261 events, $67,084,135 and $1,114,077,485. Event counts for early-2026 weeks were restated upward more sharply than dollar values, reflecting additional small pools imported by backfill. All figures use the corrected USD-only extraction methodology adopted 2026-08-05.
About This Tracker
ChainAware.ai’s weekly rug pull tracker monitors liquidity removal fraud across PancakeSwap on BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum, and Uniswap and SushiSwap on Ethereum, Base and Polygon, covering all pool versions. Rug pull fraud is defined as the USD-equivalent value of liquidity removed by the pool creator that exceeds the USD-equivalent value of liquidity added by the creator – a net extraction event, measured in USD-side value only. The tracker uses ChainAware’s predictive rug pull detection engine, which achieves 90.1% detection accuracy in V3 – see the full Rug Pull Detector methodology for how the model scores deployer wallets and liquidity events.
